New Resources to Help You on Your Donor Journey
September 20, 2022
We are excited to share that we have added new DonorConnect resources to help you on your donor journey.
Evaluating Your Impact
As you navigate your philanthropy, there will come a time when you will want to step back and assess what all your giving and all your work has done in the world. What has been your impact? Is it the impact you hoped or expected?
This process of evaluating the impact you are having can be challenging, but it can also be enormously rewarding, teaching you not only about philanthropy and non-profit work but about yourself.
Check out our resource, How to Evaluate Impact, to discover how best to assess the impact of your giving.
Engaging the Next Generation
In pondering the legacy you wish to leave behind, one of the questions you may ask is – Who will carry on the work? For donors who want their charitable work to continue after they are gone, long-term planning is not only a financial matter, but also a familial one.
Preparing the next generation is not as simple as showing them how you perform your philanthropic work and expecting them to follow suit. They’ve grown up in a different era, shaped by different formative experiences, and they approach philanthropy, and the whole concept of “doing good,” with a different philosophy.
Check out our resource, How to Engage the Next Generation, to learn pointers on how to involve the next generation in your family’s philanthropy.
